The 8 Ways to Get More Facebook Views

These days, it’s kind of like musical chairs to figure out how to get more views on Facebook. Since everyone is doing it, it can be tough to tell who is doing well and who is just lucky. You can spend a lot of time thinking about the best way to get on people’s news feeds. At important times, though, companies that make better decisions may beat out your posts. Don’t give up just yet, though.

Why getting Facebook likes is so hard

It takes work, but becoming visible on Facebook isn’t impossible or a chance process. To see how many times a post is seen, you can look at your “organic reach” number in the “Insights” tab. The number of people who see your latest posts without paying for them is called “organic reach”.

Because Facebook has so much information, organic reach is going down as the site tries to make what each user sees better. When a user logs in, Facebook’s VP of Publisher Solutions, Brian Boland, says that the news feed picks posts from 1,500 possible stories. Up to 15,000 stories could be in line for people with a big network or a lot of attention.

To put it simply, there’s a lot of information that wants to be seen. Facebook gives more weight to posts that are useful and interesting to the user, so it’s important to know what your audience is interested in. Try these smart ways to promote your business on Facebook if you want to stand out.

1) Create a very specific group.

It’s strange, but having too many friends on Facebook can make you less visible. Since the platform rewards useful activity, being popular without contributing is pointless. It’s harder to keep people interested when your audience is big. People who see your posts a lot but don’t click on them are likely to think they are spam. It works better to go after a small group of people who regularly interact with your material.

First, look at the people who already follow you and see how they connect with your posts. To make a brand persona, look for patterns in their demographics and hobbies. Use the Audience Optimization tool to find audiences that you like and audiences that are like them and are likely to respond well to your material. That will make it more likely that people will comment, like, and share each story. Your work may reach more people naturally if friends of the people you want to see it also see it.

2) Shareable information is good, but don’t post as often.

Do not feel bad if you do not post updates all day. Companies that posted 60 times a month got 60% fewer clicks per post than companies that posted five times a month or less. The most posts you should make in a month should be between 5 and 30. Instead, you should focus on making calls to action that make people want to keep responding to your posts.

3) Get your email followers to sign up.

People who have signed up for your email list can reliably send people to your Facebook business page. Let them know when you post something that fits with what they’re interested in. In your posts, if you talk about other businesses or people with a lot of followers, make sure you tag them. Getting people to interact with your post early on can help it do better and help you stand out. Responding quickly to comments is a great way to connect with new fans and old ones.

4) Set up a time to post when it’s not busy.

You’ll be up against user-generated content and well-known businesses if you post during busy times. What Facebook users post usually has the most weight because people care more about their selfies and pet pictures than your ads. It’s easy to fix: just post at times when your rivals aren’t as busy.

5) Always-updating Facebook posts

You probably already know that businesses that are good at what they do work smarter, not harder. The same goes for making material that keeps people coming to your Facebook page. You can use evergreen content over and over again, which saves you time and money.

6) To reach specific goals, use boosting.

You can pay to get more views on your posts with boosted posts. Since there is a fee for boosting, this strategy should only be used for certain goals. Say you want to get people to attend an event, buy something, or download something. By “boosting” a post, you can get your content seen by as many people as possible during the promotion time. You can choose how long the promotion lasts and make it engaging or get people to visit your website.

7) Start or join a Facebook group that only has members.

Open groups can lose their effectiveness over time, just like a business’s natural reach. Facebook marketing is all about getting people who are very involved to share in groups that are friendly and helpful. To avoid this, join active groups that have clear rules about posting, posting themes, and action schedules. You are more likely to get good leads and chances to share your knowledge from these groups.

8) Plan a way to reach out to influential people.

Use growing influencers and loyal customers as proof of what other people think. It can be hard to stay focused on your participation efforts when high-level influencers have a lot of followers. Instead, look for people who have busy, growing audiences and can help you by cross-promoting. Some of your clients may be other business owners whose customers you also serve. If you have social media experts on staff, reward them with reference bonuses when they get other people to talk about your business.
