How to See What Someone Likes on Facebook

Facebook is one of the most popular social media platforms that everyone uses to gain visibility and popularity. One of the features that Facebook has is FB Pages where a user would like the page and become a follower.

We all use Facebook to connect with our friends and family and communicate online, especially long-distance friends and family.

Facebook also comes with a feature that allows you to see all the photos your friend or anyone else has linked. Think of it as “Like Collection” and you can find what they’ve liked today, yesterday, this month, or even the past year.

Method -1: Check Recent Activity by going to the Side Tab

The simplest method that you can see what someone likes is to check recent activity on Facebook. You can find the option in the notification center which can be accessed by clicking on the bell button next to the chat tab.

There you’ll find a fast-summarized version of all the recent activities from your friends and family. You can find new posts, comments, friend requests, or anything else.

Method -2: See Someone’s Activity on Facebook Profile Page

If a person whose Facebook activity you like to see is in your friend’s list then you see all the activity your friend upload on Facebook would be listed under the public, private, or friends only. You’ll see their activity once they have listed the posts under the public or friends only category.

You can follow these instructions to find someone’s activity-

  • Visit the Friends profile and click on the more option
  • Now choose likes from the menu
  • You’ll see likes of your friends on pages, movies, TV Shows, etc.
  • You can also follow this method for different category activities for instance Music, artist, etc.

Personalized Searches:

You can also perform personalized searches to find whose photos their friends like-

  • Open the Facebook app or on your browser and log in to your account using your login credential
  • After logging in, go to the search bar and type your Friends Name into the search box but before your friend’s name add “Photos Liked by (Friend name)” and you’ll find all the photos liked by your friend

Self-Hack:

You can also use this trick to see all the photos you’ve liked over the years. Just type out “Photos Liked by Me” in the search bar and you’ll find all the results that you’ve liked.

More Detailed Searches:

Apart from this, you can also include the year in the search bar to get more detailed results. You can type in the search bar “Photos liked by me from 2015” and you’ll find all the search results from 2015 that you’ve posted.

You can also just use generic words like:

  • this week
  • last week
  • this month
  • last month
  • this year
  • last year
